I used the 10 second timer and then got into position. There is a strong lighting emphasis as you can see with the shadow.

Hidden Lake Duo-tone
This is the exact same picture as the Ansel-Adams method, the only difference being this one has a warming filter which gives it the orange glow.
Hidden Lake Ansel Adams
The Ansel-Adams method was used here. For this I went into the channel mixer and clicked monotone and the settings for Ansel-Adams are as follows
Red: +160
Green: +190
Blue: -200
Those settings above give the image a higher contrast. I also increased the contrast slightly more with the curves adjustment.

Colour Edit
In this one I added a warming filter which is the orange tint, it makes it seem like it is pretty warm. I then made the photo darker by lowering the exposure. These two effects combined make it seem like it was take at sunset, when really it was taken a few hours before sunset.
